Benefits and Responsibilities of a VUSA Scholar
As a VUSA Scholar, you will receive:
Financial support in the form of a stipend to help with your studies (this is not tuition assistance)
An annual stipend of ₱20,000, distributed by semester (₱10,000 per semester)
Additional monetary or in-kind gifts and awards from VUSA or its sponsors
Financial assistance for selected special projects or academic needs, when available
Continued support after graduation on a case-by-case basis
Opportunities to participate in VUSA Scholars activities and programs
As a VUSA Scholar, you expected to:
Attend the quarterly all-hands meeting with the Scholarship Committee
Renew your scholarship at the beginning of each academic year, subject to review and approval
Continue to demonstrate financial need
Maintain acceptable academic performance
Keep your MyPortal profile updated, including uploading report cards at the end of each semester or academic year
Participate respectfully in the mentoring relationship and follow the guidance of your mentor
Comply with all VUSA Scholarship rules, guidelines, bylaws, and policies
